I apologize for my recent sort of absence... I haven't been in the happiest and most pleasant state of mind for a few months, which I don't really want to talk about... Well, I kinda do, but I don't think anyone would want to listen, so yeah... Anyway, after a few pathetic and failed attempts to find someone on tumblr who might lend me their listening ear for a few moments, here I am once again, back on dA~

I'd thank *Aifai for renewing my premium membership for me since I've been back, but I think that she already knows just how kind, giving, and downright bloody awesome she is~

I'm taking a bit of a break from drawing Psychonauts fanart, and the Psychonauts community in general really, and that's all I really want to say on the matter. I've been working on a couple of birthday gifts lately (why I seem to attract so many Taureans, I'll never know...), and then I'm hoping to draw a few of my own characters and things, a little Roddaverse, and maybe a few pet portraits and things~ You know, drawings that I really just enjoying doing for the sake of it~

I've gotten so tired of people just flat out criticizing me for my fanart simply because it's not how they imagined the characters or whatever... If you're reading this and you're one of the two people I recently had to block, this is the reason why I did. It got to the point where you would both start criticizing me for trying to explain myself, on-top of criticizing my art, and I've had enough of it. I get enough critical crap from everyone else in my life, I log onto dA to get away from all that shit and find a few friendly faces and just escape the world for a while. Neither of you would take the hint when I plainly told you both that you were just stressing me out and making me very uncomfortable and depressed, so you've both been blocked for now.

... I apologize to everyone for my language there, I'm just so damn tired of it all right now.

I've been chatting more on Skype lately than I have been on the chats here on dA, simply because I appreciate the fact that Skype gives you little alerts when people log on or send you messages. Basically, it means that if I'm distracted with a piece of art I'm working on, or in the middle of a video game, I know when people come online to say hi and I know when people are trying to talk to me. I'm finding it a lot better than using the dA chats at the moment.

So if you've got Skype and you want to say hi, just let me know. I am a bit shy, so keep that in mind, but some of you awesome people that I'd really love to talk to might be interested~ Perhaps I'll see you there~ ;D
